Let It Glow Holiday Light Competition

Do you love decorating for the holidays? Then help us spread some cheer this holiday season and enter the Let It Glow Holiday Decorating Competition presented by Southwest General Health Center!
Residents and businesses can enter for the chance to win a cash prize, a trophy, recognition on the chamber’s website and social media, and most importantly – BRAGGING RIGHTS! If you think you’ve got what it takes to be the brightest, most creative, and most festive spot in Berea, then register today!
Registration is open through Thursday, December 7 and homes/businesses must be decorated and ready for voting by Saturday, December 9. A driving map of all the contestants will be posted by the evening of December 9, and the general public will have from December 9-30 to tour all of them and vote for their favorites via an online poll. Winners will be contacted on December 31.
There is no cost to enter, so get in the game and help us spread some holiday cheer!

Gingerbread House Competition

The Berea Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present our 2nd Annual Gingerbread House Competition on Saturday, December 16 from 10am-12pm. The event will be held in the cafeteria at Berea-Midpark Middle School.

Those interested in joining the competition can participate in two ways:

  1. Create your own gingerbread house at your convenience and drop it off at BMMS the morning of the event. You can be as creative as you want! 
  2. Join us for the event and decorate a gingerbread house using a provided standard kit. All materials will be supplied and it will be up to contestants to get creative with the way they decorate in order to stand out!

Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to the top houses in each of these separate categories (pre-made houses vs. houses decorated during the event).

The event will also feature:

  • Visit and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus
  • Free donuts and hot chocolate
  • Face painting

This event is free of charge for:

  • Berea Chamber of Commerce members and their families
  • Berea residents
  • Families with children attending the BCSD regardless of city of residence (Middleburg Heights, Brook Park or Berea)

Thank you for visiting the Berea Chamber of Commerce webpage.  Here at the chamber we are committed to nurturing local businesses through education, networking, community partnerships and exclusive programs for our members.  Each member’s business is a part of the community fabric, it’s the chambers mission to connect these businesses to each other and the community.

To better serve our members and the residents of Berea, we have redesigned our webpage.  As a resident, please use this resource to explore the member directory to help you shop locally and find services.  As a chamber member or future member, please use this resource to discover all that the chamber has to offer to help you grow your business.
